Hello world!

I'm just a goof who went searching for "strange" news a few nights ago and came upon this site. I LOVE it!

I'm a hearing person, when I want to be, but can fake my way through sign language. I worked for years with two deaf men that I knew were talking about me. So, smart a** that I am, I enrolled in a sign language class, and waited it out until I was able to understand every few words before letting them know. To make a long story short, they are still close friends even though I'm in Ohio and they're in Virginia.

I'm always looking for strange and goofy things, so I'll be around!
