Hey all, I am so excited. Last night was the first date I have in years and boy was it a blast! He was a friend of mine I knew from Highschool who is Deaf, and we went out to Six Flags and had fun riding the roller coasters and catching up.
He asked me about the ex, as he heard about him from his sister. I told him about it, but also told him that it does not matter anymore. His name is Matt.
At the end of the date he hugged me and told me he was glad he got his best friend back, and hopes that me and him can be close as we were in highschool. I am so excited! Proud of myself! I took a step towards my freedom and suddenly I feel the darkness I was in clear. I cannot wait til next time.
