Is anyone here familiar with MMS? Have you tried it? What were the results?

Bottom line, I think, is that if you eat a well balanced diet and take a regular vitamin daily, you're getting enough nutrients.

One word of caution: some minerals are dangerous. Avoid collodial silver. It doesn't work and turns your skin blue. You'll turn into a smurf.

If the distributor wants you to start selling the product, it's most likely multi-level marketing. Don't get sucked in to that.

I'm no expert Reba, but I am taking a wild guess and want to ask if you've considered Rosecea? I ask, because, my Mother was diagnosed with this and it sounds an awful lot like what you're describing here. The treatment for it is a tetracycline antibiotic; either topical or oral.

Hope this helps! I can understand your frustration, but please be careful of the homeopathic remedies that are out there. They are NOT regulated by the FDA and you could do more harm then good. You could ask your Dr to refer you to an osteopath. They have both a medical degree and are familiar with homeopathic remedies.

My doctors have pretty much given up on me. I can't even get an appointment with them. They told me to go to the ER when it gets bad, and to carry an Epipen with me.

I take an Allegra in the morning, and a Predisone later in the day. Some nights I don't sleep at all.

The way I describe it is having a sever sunburn all over your body (including scalp and places where the sun don't shine), a fever, chills, and itchy poison ivy covering all the sunburn areas. Also, when my eyes swell, I can't see, and when my lips swell, I can't drink without dribbling because my mouth can't make a seal. When my nostrils swell, it's hard to breath. As long as my tongue or throat doesn't swell I don't go to the ER. I've been there a few times. I'm afraid I give my Hubby a good scare at times.

I know you said you have been to Dr's and checked for allergies. But I don't trust Dr's much. I put them right there with shrinks. Anyway, since this started have you had a chance to spend any time in a dry climate??? My wife had something......Dr's never could figure it out. But her skin would turn red whenever touched. Just a light scratch to an itch would leave a mark like she had been clawed.....But this only happened when we were in Texas.....We spent alot of time each year in California and she would be fine there.

You're right about the type A (plus I'm a first-born).

I sure don't want any more medications though. Side effects are a problem. I usually work out my anxiousness by physical activity. This last week has left me drained of energy so I haven't been able to do my usual activities. I don't sleep at night because of the itching and pain. Thursday, I was faint and came close to blacking out a few times. My blood pressure and pulse kept bouncing up and down. It's a little scary when I'm home alone.

Most of my "anxiety" is about my hives.

If it's not calmed down by Tuesday when I go back to work I'll have to wear my long-sleeved shirts and long pants, which will be very uncomfortable and hot. But as a terp, I don't want my hives to be a visual distraction.

I'm sorry that you're dealing with this. The doctors gave up? That's crazy. A lot of autoimmune diseases cause skin rashes. What kind of specialists diagnose autoimmune disorders? Have they tested you for different types of antibodies? Could it be lupus?

I know how frustrating it its when you can't get a proper diagnosis. It took me a year and a half to get a diagnosis, and I was going crazy! I hope that you get relief soon.

I don't know about auto-immune diseases as a whole, but lupus is often diagnosed by a rheumatologist.
