My parent had Whirlpool refrigerator in 1986 and serious problem were occurred in 1993 or 1994 that cause refrigerator went so became warm, repairman has replaced the new parts, I can't remember about what's wrong with it and all food were spoiled due part failure in fridge.

Kenmore rocks...
 
We have a city called Kenmore, WA few miles from here. :lol: I wonder if that's where they got the name?

It is relay device, it is rather small

Just think about this, since this is massive recall that guy probably have done that hundred of times already and know where to look for and replace it in snap. If it were for me, I would need to do research, order then replace it probably 30 minutes for me.
