If your VP 100 is defective, you email report to Sorenson support.
Sorenson VRS® Some trainers should go to exchange new VP200 for you.

Huh?! You cannot blaming on SORENSON for BIG TIME! Sorenson will trying to do their best for you! If Sorenson Tech Support not able to help it then you can trying to contact with Sorenson Customer Care at 200-877-4636 and tell them what are you complain about Trainee and Trainer didn't show up at your crib since then?

Okay, fine then complain to Customer Care, not me.. lolz! You have to right that you complain too much and BUG on Sorenson Customer Care what you need!
 
deafironchef - i am confused - is your vp100 working or not ? If not, then why not ?
As for Sorenson installer not showing up and replace to vp200, they dont just show up without authorization from their area specialist or higher.

Now you said you tested at your Friends house, exactly what did you test ? I am not going to assume anything. You need to tell us whats going on so we can help you instead of getting pissed off.

It is not necessary for you to being so mad yourself. I see why they said that it is not easy to get someone to come and install it for you.

My friend had a VP100 and now replaced it to a VP200 and she didn't have a problem since then so I assume that the company is aware of the VP100's problems. It took 8 months for her to get the VP200. It took six months for me to get it.

Maybe, you might want to come over your friend's house who has the VP200 so that you could talk to a tech support on VP with your good explanation about your VP100. You really need to be nice to the person on the VP, otherwise the agent would think that you are too crabby that he/she won't deal with you anymore. It's because the agents have hundreds of deaf people on the VP everyday.

I believe that it has to do with your router that needs to be reset somehow. You have to unplug both your cable device, a router and a VP100. Wait for 5 minutes. Then plug your cable, wait for 2 minutes then plug the VP100, and wait for two minutes then plug your router - to see what happens. It takes 10 minutes for themselves to set up automatically. (I was also told to use a Dlink router for VP100. If you have a switch device to hook the router, then don't use the switcher. I had one, and it does not work so I used another brand for the router.)

You could apply an Ojo and a MVP (purple company). It's up to you.
 
deafironchef, stop being a baby. There are VERY few deaf people in Alaska than most any other state even though Alaska is the biggest state according to how much land there is. Alaska is the biggest state in land acreage, not in population. That means they have the most land of any state, but there are still very few deaf people there. Therefore, no one wants to drive 8 HOURS from Anchorage to Fairbanks to install your VP-200. Don't like Alaska? MOVE! There is simply not enough business in Alaska for Sorenson. That's why. Duh.

Maybe, you can waiting until you move to Texas then you can trade a new vp-200, then? Did you know that Texas is TOP of 1st rank that they have a MANY VP as a USERS?! There is Sorenson can do nothing that you making a call during HOVRS because VRS Provide have different choice for us to pick the VRS Provide as whatever we want! VRS Provide is fund by FCC! We are free to using a calling but jux pay the internet highspeed company ;-) plz correct me if i gave wrong info?
 
I frustrated I am not happy because i told I need to help to encourage to free for videophone. i wish be vp 200 I am feel well because i am tired because i told you are not fair to Government,. I cannot blame to your fault because I know government to pissed off me. I don't like that is why are not complaint to vp or vp 200 is free for Canada. I am very not happy right now I understand no choice free you won't be give you address and won't be free because able you ask to discuss to talk to important to help you I hope be support to you I hope be wait for you I don't getting negative. and even worst i apply for trainee but they reject me but i want them to make it easier for them and help deaf for while

I used to live in Juneau, Alaska before. I use Sorensen VP200 with no problem. And, now I am considerin' to get MVP ( Purple ). :D

I know Fairbanks is very small town, not like Anchorage. There's many deaf people living in Anchorage. Maybe, you can move down to Anchorage so this way, you could get a better service for Sorensen VP200 or MVP which ever is the best for you. :)

If, there's anythin' you need some help -- I can contact to one of my friends in Anchorage -- maybe they will be able to help you. Just let me know. Ok ? :)

Oh...btw--I am only 2 1/2 hour drive from Portland, OR where they are coming from.

If only they learn to get off butts and get to work. Afterall--they are getting paid for doing this!

you can call customer service the vp number is 200-866-4636 on VP or forward that email to vrscomments@sorenson.com to proof that the person pond post...

Sorry about that thing had to wait to get upgrade.

it been almsot three week

now they send someone to come and give all deaf vp at thier house

but good new i will have mvp by my hand on march ( i got privte event but can not made it they will send by mail )( again two person will get mvp in fairbank)
 
now it been worth my time


they are coming to alaska fairbank from 23 to 28
