Ugh, I rather get an upgrade from a physical DVD rather than downloading it over the net. I think it might be possible to burn it on a DVD-R disc so can re install over again.
You can create a image file from your partition to flash usb or EHDD or dvd. It's better and quick than reinstall and reinstall apps.
As long nothing is corrupted and I can create a image file of the whole hard drive to a external device then it's good to go. I don't have anything big enough to do that right now, sadly.
