mac(er)---compare between iphone and ipod touch and to write on.

as i seen the iphone(3g) is alive active on network compare to ipod touch is only where wifi available(hotspot) for browse and email--is that only different between the device otherwise mostly are same except gps? also,i am wondering if any third party which allow to use fake pen or a stick to write on these instead use qwerty keyboard as for "go green" paperless if i can use for write communicate? i believe some people will became award when try to type on touch screen--so, better off if use 'pen'.? thanks in advance..

I am not Mac User. I own iphone. Not good idea to use fake pen or finger nails on iphone.

I noticed that my laptop is signal better than iphone at weak hotspot.
If, you love Microsoft Words. Better go with AT&T Tilt or HTC with mobile windows.
You can use fake pen on HTC with sleeve coat

to write,draw or sketches it on iphone/itouch. here is link: Sketches - iPhone if you are interesting.. which you can write down at fast food to order or at store as go "green" instead find or/ search a paper for write communicate which you can use your finger or soft pen on iphone or itouch.
