I just googled online lipreading tutorials, and there are some out there. I am wondering which is the best. I have just had my HA's retuned-- further loss. No problem if it includes sign lite.

I just got a new computer. Limped along with a computer with blown sound-card for a year or more. Need to take full advantage of my purchase.

I was told to mute the sound and watch the show called Password to practice lips reading when I was younger there wasn't computers then. Why are the words being showed first ? I think she should say the words and have the people try on their own to read her lips. I had a real cool speech therapist , she told me she was a hillbilly and the that she was the very first person to go to college in her family . She would read from a book and I had to read her lips , she would also sit sideway so I learned how to read lips when standing sideways . This was how I was able to read my teacher and principal lips when they talking in the classroom and standing sideways . I not good as I use to .

I'm going to go with the first one, and see how it works. The second one is Brit, probably not a good ideas as I get in deeper.

Just watching TV with sound way down and something covering the CC would work, too.

See that video was speed talking at first then it got better. But nobody talks like that.

AACH! That is cruel!! But I'll do it if you tell me to. :giggle: Just as in real life, would probably have to do that kind of practice with newscasts or talk-shows-- cop-shows wouldn't work.
