Hello. I hope that someone can help me. I got a LG500G last month. I want to use it for sending emails and texting. I can't figure out how to send emails. I spent hrs w/customer service, I tried the Tracfone Forum, but no one can help me. The info they give doesn't work. I don't want to send emails from my regular email account. I want to send emails directly from my phone (like you do with a BlackBerry). My phone has a screen that says "Email Gateway." This seems like a logical place to send an email but I can't figure it out. If someone can help me I will be very grateful. Thank you.
PS: I tried this but it does not work: Messages, Message Settings, Text Message, Send Long Text As, MMS (red check to right of "MMS"), Create New Message, "To" Box, type email address (semicolon automatically stays at the end of the address and I cannot delete it), Text: type message, Options, Send. After I do all this I get a message: Message Failed To Send
