les miserables- movie

The recent movie of les miserables came out in 1996 ,but it didn't have eponine in it which made me mad. Eponine is one the main characters in the book by victor hugo, and musical. But i was wondering if any of the past movies of les miserables had eponine in it. If someone could help me who have seen the older versions of les miserables. Its my favorite book, musical. I thought the recent movie of les mis was good ,amazing cast ,but no eponine. It just wasn't the same without her.

Was it the straight version? I vaguely remmy that.....I wonder when the musical version is coming out? I still have the concert version.......excellent!

There was Eponine in 1998 version with Liam Neeson but I guess it must have been very short performance.
