Learning ASL in Akron Ohio?

I am 16. Obviously there are deaf people in my area and there has to be somewhere I could take classes or learn with a group. Anyone?

A group is like several people, ASL is American Sign Language?..
I am hearing, so I am not in touch with any deaf community.

Your local community colleges -- check and see if there are any that offer ASL.

Do a google search for "deaf coffee chat". Many cities have them.

Google DNO - "Deaf Night Out" - (but unfortunately they're almost always in bars so you may not be old enough to attend one) but most cities have that too.

Try your local libraries - check out the bulletin boards to see if anyone has an ASL group going. I've seen that where I live (which is nowhere near Akron, sorry.)
