laptop is best for college student

I am going to ignore on Tablet PC, these are stupid. Get iBook or whatever are cheap much as $600 to $1,000.

Hello, Best friend of Dr. Strangelove...

I have tell you that tablet PC sucks because they are ripped off because people have to wait so longer when tablet PC is running but get plans for notebook and pens are around 20 seconds or less, that faster to get ready for classes. I rather to get laptop over shitty tablet PC but if you lose it because of battery died then Vampy will receive 100% on score and you get 0%, that nothing...

I don't care about environment because there's recycle material to save some of them.

Nope, I simply disagreed with him. I guess Vamp can't deal with disagreements. I guess that means he does not know to honor his words about freedom of speech.

I also have a right to bust him on some things he claims if it feels fishy or doesn't make sense to me.

Get the one that use less power and slim that you can put in backpack. I noticed many Biz travellers and students uses 12 inch LCD laptops. Mine is 15.4 inch wide screen laptop and it's too big to use in airplane seat. Guy in front seat of me reclined and I had to tilt my lappy like a "V" while using it in cramped position. I hate it!! (I didn't buy that laptop! friend gave it to me as a "Thankyou" gift. I would buy smaller laptop than that for travel). There is a mobile laptop that is smaller than 12 inch and have wireless acess either Celluar broadband (require contract and payment cost lot) or 54 A/B/G wireless. It is as powerful enuf for college and Biz uses. I've read the "mobile PC" magazine at work. Saw 7 inches LCD laptop.

I hope anyone with 20/20 eyesight can read fine print. It's like 17 inch monitor w/ 1600x1200 refresh rate and run browser. I've used that setting and I can read just fine while my associate supervisor cannot see it. He squint hard and move closer then said I CANT READ!!!! (he's in 50's and wearing bifocal Hee Hee Heee). My boss laughed when I told him about it. He would love to see that guy look stupid.

I agree Tablet PC isnt good idea.

Sometimes I wonder how those old days do that and yet they been work so damn hard just to learn and understand and now look at us!! We ALL USE MACHINE EVERYWHERE!!

RITCount, u will have to undy why there are alot of different things for any young ppl to try to use computers/laptops as much as can but u cannot rely on that computers/laptops too much that would make u like lazy!! Vamp is good example and that what I like that! I am just part an old fashion myself but still I am now in new styles things which I am trying to accept lol... cuz it was just too much for me as I am now over 50s and I have learned alot abt this computers/laptops since college but not that deep in computers but things on outside like search... virus...spyware....etc... too many to count lol... I think u, RITCount, r young man, eh? Unless if u are young lady?? Sorry but dear, u have to understad how hard it is for all of us!! Exceiatply for other world that not have ANY COMPUTERS NOR LAPTOPS!!!!! U have to undy but we are very lucky to have those things but yet I feel bad for those ppl in the world and I did not like at all so u see I had to help my deaf friend who do not understand computer at all!!! NOTHING so it was hard for me to explain and she is much older than me!! But pls use ur brain to work up and keep ur health going rather than that stupid things on computers/laptops! I love them yes but I feel that I am more hook to this ... *groan* So I am happy to have summer coming soon that will keep me busy very much away from my computers for while, I hope!! I worry for young ppl like u.. u need use ur brain for math and then use machine later to see if correction anaswer...etc but oh well...
