I had a lot of nasty ear infections as a kid and lost most of my hearing. Right now I have one HA and a CI. I need a second CI, but not sure what the further holds for new technology and I’m holding out for now.

I work in IT for a local company and mostly work at home.

Welcome. I'm trying to decide if/when to get my second CI also. I got the N5 almost three years ago. My right ear has no hearing remaining so hearing aids are not an option.
 
I'm using the N5 right now.

I have a bad Eustachian tube issue with the HA ear and have a permanent tube in that side.
