When I originally went to Beltone to get my Hearing Aids I had filers/plugs made. These were because of the fans in my work area possibly being too loud. It turns out this ain't the problem.
Last night while trying to go to sleep fighting tinnitus I had a brainstorm. I've been having more and more problem hearing even with the Hearing Aids. I thought what if I put the Hearing Aid cups into the filter ports and conducted the sound more directly into the ear canal.
I tried it today and it seems to be quite a bit better. The next time I go to Beltone for a cleaning/check up I'll see if there is a cup that fits better into the port hole.
