Implant failure. You asked for compensation?
2 years suffering with CI. Headache.
Finally explantation and analysis of CI. For half a year maybe a new CI.
If you prove to be defective, what further.
 
I was younger previous failure implant. neurologist said I had yrs 12 yrs increase headache worst I am suffer migrance I go to treatment to issues on migrance horribles.. won't to help better successfully I got bad failure cochlear implant. now remove implant!
 
Would "suing for negilgence" be a consideration?

Presumably one would have to be able to "prove all assertions of damage" in court-Difficult?

Nothing is certain.
The implant will be sent for analysis.
If it is proved defective by manufacturer. What then?

we cannot control sue to doctor.. we knew already history report.. serious

But depend on people have problem on strong personal feeling whether to opinion perception issues damage on cochlear implant function.
doctor nothing control...

it doesn't work help how better perfect purpose.
 
Isn't the warranty for Cochlear Implants -3 years? My was- Advanced Bionics Harmony. I also understand the "internal processor" is tested in the operating room.

Aside: Sunnybrook/Toronto does- other centres?.
