HI just want to say im new here do not understand much of the deaf culture im lossing most of my hearing, there are giving me hearing aids for both my ears The audi guy said i ahve been reading lips. do not know how to sign ,or anything like that.but i guess i will have to learn ns hl is what it saids also i ahve three hyper kids its ready hard i need you all to get over this,my world is changed as i know it. left hear 70db right ear 95 db . chat to all soon...i hope to get to know most of you here i need to find out were i belong...
 
welcome sunlight. i've been here awhile and never introduced myself (why? i'm a master procrastinator apparently) I hope you find a way to stay sane in the chaos, i think people here are pretty good about advice and it seems just a good natured group in general. I know the adjustment is unpredictable and sometimes frightening, but know there's a voice of reason somewhere in the sea of crazy. Chances are, reason can be found if you ask the questions rather than just muddling through on your own (like me). I hope you find your world is expanding with opportunities for more clear communication and friendship coming your way. :) anyhow, the best of luck to you

Nice to meet you all today was something els it takes weeks for these aids don't they , i can not understand anything my kids are hyper, lol they all talk together i need to come up with some way of to teach them to talk one at a time im lost .IM like 30 years old learning to sign at this age wow... i need some real help here ...love you all and god bless,Jenna,Sarfarigirl,2011,Bebonang,Sunny.signs, hope to chat soon and mee new people...
