deaf aids, would that offend you?
 
I really dont care what others think becuase they are simply ignorant people. If they say something so nasty then they are no good. simple as that.
 
Someone once called mine deaf and dumb aids, now that is offensive!!!
 
No , but didn't they used to call them that in England? So aren't you just asking if old fashioned English language bothers us?
 
No, that wouldn't bother me. I'm deaf and they're my aids. It just sounds like an old fashioned term.
 
i wouldnt care if they said that, as i know they are ignorant or too lazy to use the correct term
 
Never heard that- would probably just laugh! It depends on the tone.
 
I guess you could you say to the person , Yeah it is my deaf aid , I turn it off when dumb people talk to me or when people ask me dumb questions!
 
Compared to all the names people give my long cane, deaf aids is nothing! :rofl:
