DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, Manage, and Deploy a GoAmerica Regional Marketing and Installation Team
• Identify, recruit, train, and manage a regional network of high-quality Champs to represent the company at trade events, community get-togethers, and company-directed events within the region;
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, direction, and team building within the regional marketing and installation team, with an eye for providing quality service to customers; and
• Review and evaluate Champ and Installer performance, directly and through online event reports; and provide the Community Marketing Manager with an accurate assessment.
• Co-develop with the Community Marketing Manager a comprehensive regional marketing and installation plan; validate existing target metros and identifying new metro areas, based on company goals and existing and expected regional marketing and installation team members.

Event Selection, Staffing, Travel, and Measurement
• Attend and participate in all regional trade events where the company has a presence; attend and participate as appropriate and practical local events that Champs are participating in.
• Regularly solicit Champs and Installers for local event information, and provide the Community Marketing Manager with an ongoing list of event options in the Company's regions.
• Work closely with the Community Marketing Manager to establish and prioritize the Company's event schedule.
• Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing for all events in which the Company participates.
• Coordinate travel-related logistics for Champ transportation and lodging, as well as travel expense reimbursement.
• Provide Community Marketing Manager with a consistent list of sponsorship opportunities designed to maximize the Company's visibility within the region.
• Provide Community Marketing Manager with an ongoing cost summary of community-marketing related expenses for events; ongoing recommendations for cost savings; and analysis on the promotional and financial effectiveness of specific events.

Market Evangelizing and Community Relations
• Interact regularly with appropriate "market influencers" – on a regional and national basis – to keep them apprised of new developments with the company, its products/services, vision, mission, and values.
• Build awareness, generate demand, gain organizational support, build trust, and enhance the company’s perception within the deaf, hard of hearing and speech disabled communities through community participation. This includes participation in panel discussions, giving presentations, and meeting with key influencers as appropriate.

Sales, Lead Generation, and Quality Assurance
• Together with the sales and marketing teams, develop sales tactics designed to leverage the Champ network for wireless product and service sales, and increase installation opportunities.
• Together with the Community Marketing Manager and Installation Supervisor, develop strategies for increasing the number of installations in specific metros within the region.
• As directed by the Community Marketing Manager, establish and meet or exceed wireless sales and installation quotas within the Champ and Installation teams.
• Monitor targeted metros to identify potential corporate or government customers that are good prospects for VRS and/or wireless installations, and disseminate these leads to the marketing or installation team, as necessary.
• Leverage the regional installation team to cultivate ongoing, positive customer relationships within their respective local deaf communities, including support follow up, on-site troubleshooting and/or training, and local customer appreciation events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-5 years of demonstrated success in a sales, marketing, or outreach role within the deaf community
• Impeccable management and interpersonal skills, and a passion for developing and coaching people
• Must possess the energy, effervescence, professionalism and verve necessary to recruit, inspire, and motivate a regional marketing team
• Ideal candidate must enjoy technology and its use in building bridges between the deaf, hard of hearing, speech-disabled and hearing communities
• A solid understanding of the deaf and hard of hearing communities and their various cultural strata, advocacy organizations, and community influencers
• Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Must be a polished presenter and comfortable with giving live presentations to large groups of people of mixed hearing levels
• Must possess current, positive relationships within the deaf community and among market influencers, partners, and customers
• Must have solid written and verbal or signed communication skills
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and using the internet
