I spent most of my day having my hearing tested about 4 or 5 times. After all the results came back the same, the audiologist's first words were "I'm sorry, but it appears your former doctor overlooked your hearing loss for quite awhile." After staring at her, speechless for five minutes, I asked, by her estimate how long. Her response was "it's almost impossible to know but in your file, are hearing test from as early as 2000 that indicate you should have begun wearing hearing aids then".
Is this something other doctors have overlooked on others, or was mine just an idiot? I know it's too late to do anything about him now, but has anyone had a similar problem?

That's just like a psychology of marketing technique.

This new one is your savior, the old one was just awful...

So this one will be your hero and you will stay for many years making purchases.

I don't think it's a big deal if you had hearing aids or not.

Don't dwell on the past, just go forward.

Good point. Now my only problem will be the medical bill. I think next time I will tell them to stop at one. :hmm:
