Oh, I enjoy it--being able to vote and request transcripts without parents' signatures, but I actually have to be responsible, which is kinda scary...eh, I'll get used to it. ;)
 
Hey there...

As soon as I turned 18, I went for my drivers licence...what did you do first!!

Oh me as well, I could apply for a disability grant...guys, I use my grant to buy hearing aid batteries!!

I went to register to vote. (I'm American, and you can get a DL at sixteen in my state--not a full one, but still!) The second thing? Getting a full DL, which was just filling out some paperwork and providing proof of residence.

Yeah, I'll get used to it.
Although it'll involve paying the bills.

Oh I voted this year, when I was 19, because our elections were held then!!

In South Africa, you can vote get your licence, etc...but you are technically not an adult until you are 21...like for suretyships and stuff like that you need to be 21!!

You need to be 21 here to do more of the "fun" things...It's crazy! At eighteen, you're legal, yet not quite an adult.
