Heyllo...I'm new..haven't worn a HA in over 24 years..I'm sick of being stubborn and "afraid" to get HA's..so I've been researching them and picking other's brains(safely) on what is hot and what is not. Also the $ isn't falling off the tree like it used to either.

Last time I was checked I had about 60% loss in one ear and 40% in the other. That's the simplistic version of it anyway.

Thanks guys. Garrett, I'm doing ok. Trying to gather enough courage and cash to get my hearing checked out etc. I feel kind of stupid when I see you guys who are deaf- you must think people like me are crazy. It's also nice to see how well you are all coping with it.

And my family is doing fine too. Dad has Parkinson's but seems to be dealing with it ok. Thanks for asking.
