I got it news annoucnement
deaf saskatchewan ,
I got email reason point courage to your reading my my area otherwise improve Saskatoon,
http://www.shrc.gov.sk.ca/pdfs/disability-related-modifications.pdf
The SHRC has a new fact sheet re: tax deductions for disability-related modifications for businesses. It is on our web-site under the "AccessAbility" button. This may be useful information for settlement work and general information. Here's the link:
I hope you are well and enjoying your summer with your families.
I thought I would forward the link to the Commission's new fact sheet highlighting tax deductions for disability-related modifications for businesses, which would also include landlords.
If you notice on the second page of the document it gives an example of:
• Visual fire-alarm indicators
You may be already aware of this but I thought I would let you know that it is on our website as I recall that a few people from the deaf and hard of hearing community told me of their landlords being reluctant to install visual fire-alarm indicators in their apartments. So this may be useful.
Please feel free to pass on this information.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
