Hey there, everybody! I've been hard of hearing since a very young age. I am completely deaf in my right side and mild to moderate on my left side. Been wearing ha's since I was 5-ish (now 25), so I have a lot of experience with ha's. So excited about the new digital technology and connectivity!

Anyways, I'm hoping to learn some Sign Language and get involved in the Deaf community so looking forward to meeting everybody here!

:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. Yes, Yes, you must learn ASL and be able to communicate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people at the Social events, even here on the AllDeaf. So have fun reading and posting all the threads here. See you around here. :wave:

Socials can be rather interesting, I've been hooked since I first went in Feb.
I might have seen you around if you've already been to some.
