Hello...again...everyone!
Since it has been quite a while since I've been back here due to lack of computer access I figured I needed to introduce myself again. I'm mizwytch and I live in Athens, Georgia. While I was not born deaf, I have developed severe hearing loss that has left me with about 95%-98% hearing loss and am now considered legally deaf. This is being a rather enlightening experience I must say. I've certainly noticed how differently people treat a person when they realize that person is considered to have a disability.
I don't feel disabled, but things sure have changed in my life. It's a whole new world.
