Me too, I still use old fashion.

pressure control + C + Print screen (excatly frame image)
pressure control + Print screen (whole desktop's screen)

then open paint or photoshop or other apps
use paste = Pressure control + V

Just press "Print Screen" then press Ctrl and V to paste on paint.

I use old fashion for XP and Vista.

Shift+command+3 for screenshot full screen and auto save picture at desktop.
Shift+command+4 for screenshot area screen and auto save picture at desktop.

LOT faster and no need open print then paste then save.
