it's the internet. people will lose interest after a certain time. the chats do kind of bog down. i for one think some of the older threads should be cut off and closed after a certain amount of time and just be archived . a cutoff period of say 30 days will see to it that ancient threads don't keep getting dragged up as a new posting.
maybe jaz up the layout? oh yeah, and have hijackers put in a time out corner
