I live in area that where download speed is capped at 3 mbps because of DSLAM limitation and Windstream is too lazy to upgrade.

Dude, you better download "DAP" or "SpeedBit" while you watch the steaming video with boost to save your time or you download some files from an internet. Take my two cents.

I need 15-20 mbps for faster downloading without left PC overnight, enough sharing with my family and HD videos.

Yup, very slow when trying download the games from Steam.

GTA IV contains 16 GB that took 18 hours to finish.

Agree with you. He do nothing know about advanced networking. 3 mbps is not enough as faster. At least 10 to up mbps may have a little good balance of downloading a matter of time. I took a Networking and Security #1 to 4 while I attend to a college. What about wireless rounter as gaming router for your own? :D

I own Linksys WRT310N with DD-WRT firmware installed.
