how do i edit or delete something i already posted?

hi all,
i am trying to figure out how to delete or edit something i have already posted. is there a way to do this? many thanks for any help.
 
For a certain period of time, there is an edit button in the lower right of what you have posted.

If you wait too long, you will need to contact a moderator and ask them to do it for you.

Look in the left bottom corner of your post. There is a little red and white triangle. Click on it and it will bring up a box to report to the moderator your concerns.

The edit button use to be there all the time , whyis it there only for short time now? I never find the edit button on my comment any more.

I don't know. How long are you waiting?

When I replied to you, there is an edit button there.

There was an edit button now , but a few times I had none, I will sometime
notice the next day that I spelled a word wrong and want to correct it , or I
left a word out .
