This is my first time on here:) I like it already! A lil about me... I am hard of hearing, not super severe but still wear/need hearing aids to understand and get everything. I took an ASL class my sophomore and junior year of high school and am now getting ready to begin my senior year. Sadly my school doesnt offer a third year of ASL:( I dont want to forget everything I've learned from now till when i go to college to study interpreting. So im wondering if it be possible would any of you be willling to facetime or skype or anything for about 10-30 minutes a day or at least once a week so i can continue to learn and not forget what I have learned so far?

Welcome!!!!! Glad you like ASL so much. I know a HOH 'terp from Washington State. Are you doing anything this summer? There IS a program for dhh teens at Gally to learn ASL.....or you could attend another Deaf camp and keep sharp by immersion.

Also check out NTID's EYF: http://www.rit.edu/ntid/eyf/
You might also want to think about looking at Gally or NTID for college....the experiance is so much fun....and don't worry about thinking that you're "too hearing" HOH kids are accepted there!
