Hi. My name is Michelle. I am hearing but taking ASL in college. My professor is Deaf and I absolutely love watching her sign and teach us sign language and about Deaf culture...it's sparked something in me!

I hope to be fluent in it some day...and I try to go to as many Deaf events as possible, etc. Though it's kind of nerve wracking sometimes because everyone signs so fast and I'm only in ASL 1

I totally know what you mean. I've been there, believe me. Heck, I've only been at this asl biz for 2 years so i'm STILL there, lol. It has gotten easier though.
