I guess I am doing this "bass ackwards" as I have already posted over the last couple of weeks. Anyway, I am the father of a ci child. My daughter, now 19 and a sophomore in college received her ci in 1989. Its been a great experience and we have been blessed to have met some of the nicest and most patient, helpful and understanding people over the course of raising our child.

Anyway, glad to have found this forum, thanks to Cloggy.

Yeah, it is the acronym for Cochlear Implant. By the way, I'm straight west of you in Moorhead; are you at UMD?
