Hi! I'm Emily, 27 y/o...new to this forum.

I have mild to moderate SNHL in my right ear and severe SNHL in my left due to congenital rubella. Just had another audiologist checkup and they brought up the idea of hearing aids again (they recommended the Widex Dream brand)...I tried one back in 2001 and didn't like it (everything sounded distorted and tinny) but I'm thinking about giving them another try since technology has improved. I think I get by mostly pretty well in life without a HA (did well in school, graduated college, worked, etc) but wondering how much improvement I would see if I did use an HA. And of course a little worried about not keeping the hearing I do have! Any advice appreciated! Thanks :)

welcome to AD :)
Widex Dream's a good one unless you want a DREAM! (I tend to be punny lol)
