Been reading a lot here and trying to post. Figured I say Hello and bought a membership.

I have been losing my hearing for 10 years. It has decreased significantly over the last 8 months. Have Bilateral Hearing loss with Tinnitus. My hearing loss is hereditary. My goal is to learn ASL and have my family learn it.

I'm a SAHM but not by choice. I don't do well in Job interviews since I cannot hear. Even when I am upfront about my hearing loss.

Not sure what else to put here. Feel free to ask questions or give input

same here, I have Bilateral hearing loss but mine's pretty moderately severe though!

Just an FYI, CI's have been effective for many at eliminating or reducing the severity of Tinnitis. I know a couple of folks that it was their main reason for getting CI
