Hi everyone!
Just to introduce myself, my name is Christine and I am 17 years old and live in Canada. I am hearing, but my best friend is deaf, and we are inseperable. I also have another friend who is deaf that goes to the same school as me. I am not fluent in ASL (or ESL?) yet. My best friend has been trying to teach me on and off. So far, I can spell and I know the alphabet and most numbers and basic signs pretty well. Just the most complicated signs I still need to learn. I am interested in making some new friends here and learning more about the deaf community.
