Hello there my name is Amber. I was raised in minnesota with my older brother John, he was born deaf and since I was a baby he was the only person that I was able to talk with I refused to talk untill I was six years old and my uncle made me talk other than that I was always signing with my brother. I am hearing of course. But I find the whole Deaf culture amazing and so interesting. I just thought that i should say hi and introduce myself. Thank you for reading. Hope to talk to ya

First of all I want to congratulate you for refusing to speak until you're about 6. Basically ASL is your first language?

My big brother is completely deaf he was born deaf, and thank you.. I was very stubborn with talking.
 
Nothing wrong with the delay, you can still comprehend speech on all fronts. Welcome aboard!
