I am 18 and i am hoh and i started losing my hearing when i was 12 and after that i have not like shots cause of it. I am now learning asl and have been for a year now. i am hoping that i ll get good before my hearing is gone

Hello and welcome to Alldeaf hazelkat! Perhaps associating with other Deaf/Hoh individuals through Deaf clubs, functions, etc., can help speed along learning ASL and bring about a sense of being in a comfort zone with other like-minded folks so you'll never have to feel like you're combating and dealing with losing your hearing all alone. Anyhow, hope you'll enjoy your stay here in Alldeaf!! :)
