Hey! I'm new and just wanted to introduce myself!

My name is Celena and I'm from North Jersey. The main reason why I joined this site is because I am currently teaching myself sign language and I want to communicate with the deaf community in the process. I am going back to school for a teaching degree - my objective is to teach deaf children and their parents sign language. I don't know how I got interested in this profession but I have always been fascinated with signing. If anyone has any thoughts, comments, etc, feel free to let me know.
