Hey guys! My name is Caitlyn. I am currently enrolled in an ASL 1 class at the university I am attending. One of our assignments is to have a 15 min conversation with a deaf person. If anyone out there would like to be my saving angel let me know please!! Thanks so much:wave:

P.s. I am a Social Work major in case you were wondering!
 
:wave:::Hi Caitlyn. To complicate your assignment some DEAF persons have Cochlear Implants and don't know/use ASL.

Much success in your Social Work courses.
 
Well this I know. But I am sure that there are some people that do know/ use ASL on here though right?

Sure. But even on here we have deaf ASL users in Little Rock. I am sure your teacher meant for you to go talk in person to one of them...
 
We are allowed to do our conversation over skype also. That is why I am on here. I am not originally from Little Rock therefore I have no connections and I don't know anyone. He is perfectly fine with it not being in person just as long as I do it.
