Hi, been lurking for a couple weeks. I'm new to this whole thing. I lost my hearing in March of this year, and just got a pair of hearing aids about 3 weeks ago. I am from Ohio and am 30 years old. I don't know anyone around my age who is dealing with hearing loss and I am glad that this site exists. I've learned a lot about coping with hearing loss and adjusting to hearing aids. I've also been driving my audiologist nuts with some things that I've learned from here. Thanks!
