Ciborg2? Does it mean you have two CIs or one CI? You will have a long journey to find out what is like to be deaf or in CI term hard of hearing. Do not say "hearing impaired" because we don't like it. Say what you want to say deaf or hard of hearing, you choose. Just take time to get to know us as we go along with many of the topics here on forum.

ive always been hoh, hearing aids worked until a few years back. i do sign (not fluent but want to work on that). i have 2 ci's. one is 4 yrs old, one is 3 yrs old. i guess instead of late deaf i should say post lingual deaf. ci's are ok but not perfect and i hate "hearing impaired". we arent broke :)
