Hello everyone I am new to ASL and would like a Skype buddy!

Hello my name is Katie. I live in Alabama. I am currently in an interpreter training program (ASL1) and I am looking to find someone in the Deaf community to Skype with to learn the dos and don'ts of the Deaf community/culture. I am not looking for an interview, I am looking to make friends and find future associates. I believe this is the path that God has given me but I have not had any luck finding a group locally and was lucky enough to be referred to this site. Any help or even advice on where I can go will be greatly appreciated.
