Hearing, Fluent in ASL

Hi. :) I'm Sabrina. I've been involved with the deaf community for about 5 years, now. I started by joining a deaf theatre group and made a lot of friends there, who taught me sign language. I continued to learn and my deaf friends helped me, a lot. I got better and better. I was really interested in deaf culture and my friends taught me all about it. Then I found AllDeaf, and decided to check it out. :)

I'm hearing and I will be taking ASL lessons in September. I think it's cool that you joined a deaf theater group. I also like your name. No creepiness intended... lol
 
Hi, Sabrina I'm hearing also. I really wish we had a deaf ASL using theatre group in my area, I'm a semester away from my associates in ASL interpretation and already have a certification in ASL. I love the language, my deaf friends and I also love theatre. I was always very involved in musical theatre up through highschool. Having a deaf theatre group around here would be awesome! :)
