We won't ruin the content of our short presentation by describing it frame by frame, but we will note that everything you're seeing here is being rendered in real-time on the Xbox 360, using the current version of our Halo 3 game engine. The HDR lighting, self-shadowing, GPU-run particle system and many other effects should make it intact (and more) to our final game.

The trailer was built to have minimum impact on the development process, and while it required long hours and hard work from many, many Bungie staffers, it utilizes real-game assets, fiction and locations from parts of the "real" game.

Holy Fuck.....I just near damn drooled when i saw the trailer!

This one totally kicks ass and ties up everything in the Halo universe

and then you have Bill Gates' sneaky plan to hit Sony where it hurts, launch day for PS3 with releasing Halo 3 around the time of the PS3's launch thus stealing Sony's thunder.....
 
wow this is supertrailer of h3.. H3 coming in 2007, i cant wait to pick it up any store... the Gear of war and GRAW are GREAT third shooters also.

lol yeah wish it's true but sadly he got it wrong so I've heard on G4TV that PS3 is expected to hit the US November 17th of this year at a price range of $500/$600 depending on the package you get...so Halo 3 isn't expected to hit 'til next year but I wouldnt be surprised if it comes around the time the Halo movie is released which is expected to be in theatres next year too.

The Halo movie should be the biggest and long awaited videogame based films since "Mortal Kombat".

I don't know about that! Microsoft can suprise you! They should release that game at same time with playstation 3. Oh well. We will see about that. At first, they said will release late in 2006 and now delay to 2007.

Hopefully it is not true!

I will find out more about this.
