Greetings from SubBot.
I am not deaf, but I am an avid subtitler.
My wife isn't a native English speaker (but she speaks and understands English no problem,) so I have to sub any movies or tv shows (that aren't subbed or captioned) so that she can really understand them.
So far, I've subbed the first few years films of Our Gang or the Little Rascals and about 10 episodes of Amos 'n Andy, and several other movies.
I am currently working on a major project and had to enlist the help of others to complete it. If interested, check the captions sections here in a while and you will see what it is. ***Hint: my avatar is what I'm working on.
Glad to be here...and maybe in the future I can help some out here with what I'm working on and what I've created so far.
