German plane avoids crash

I can relate to the passengers. I was flying to Denver, CO years ago on a business trip and it was so windy. As the plane approach the landing strip, the plan was shaky violently and the overhead compartments were popping open and some of the suitcase fall out. Also, the wings were flexing a lot by bending up and down rapidly. The people were panicking and were pushing the buttons for stewards. As we got closer to landing strip, the plane shift to the left and felt like it dropped 20 feet so the pilot slam the engine to maximum speed and retracted the landing wheels to abort the landing. When we can for second approach, it was a smooth landing. Now talk about a gust of wind.
