My name's Angus, I'm not deaf, but I'm writing a film and the central story is a love story about a guy who lost the use of his voice and a girl who lost the use of her hearing. I don't want to offend the deaf community by being naïve about the condition or getting something wrong in the script about how she would truthfully approach something, especially since my personal knowledge about deafness is limited - so if you would be interested in helping me out a little and giving some input, let me know and I'll get back to you with some questions!
