If you are/were a college/high school female soccer player and can kick long distances the Columbus Comets Women's Professional Football Team (all tackle NFL style) team is looking for a female player to handle kickoffs and extra points. Tryouts are on going for the upcoming season.
The Comets have coaches who sign and are one of the premier football teams in the country. Practices are on Saturday and Tuesday nights. The season starts April 6 and games are on Saturday nights.
Google the Columbus Comets website or stop by practice on Saturday nights at Resolute Athletic Center (Old Sports Barn) near Easton at 8:00 p.m. and ask for the special teams coach. Come dressed in tryout gear (shorts, tee, athletic sneaker shoes)
