The ACLU is currently trying to remove a cross from Mount Soledad National War Memorial in San Diego. In fact, an activist judge has already ordered the city to remove the cross from the memorial or face a fine of $5,000 per day. That case, now 17 years old, is still being fought in court.
If the ACLU wins, it will mean that every cross in every federal or state cemetery will eventually be removed. Don’t let it happen! Under Section Three, Article Two of the U.S. Constitution Congress can pass a law prohibiting federal judges from having any jurisdiction over federal cemeteries.

If the ACLU is allowed to pursue this anti-Christian bigotry unchecked, the 9000 white crosses at Normandy Beach could soon disappear. The words on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington will be open for removal: “Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God.”

Take Action
Enter your zip code to send your email asking your Senators to sponsor a law protecting the crosses in all federal cemeteries and use Article Three, Section Two to remove jurisdiction from federal judges. It will go directly to your two U.S. Senators and President Bush. And please forward this to others as we honor our heroes who have given so much so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have.

I want ALL religious symbols removed from the government. Crosses, crescents, wiccan, all of them.

And replace them with american flags!

And what would that be, hottiedeafboi?

I heard it on my radio a couple weeks ago and called in. They might as well start taking down telephone and electrical poles, too, because they're made into crosses.

If the pagans don't like it, they can always move to Russia.

I am big fan of separation of church and state in government so that means replace them with Flags!

This site support the separation of church and state in government; http://www.au.org/site/PageServer

We have freedom of religion in this country, so perhaps your statement should be "If the Christians don't like it, they can always move to Russia."

Oh yes. Members of the Russian Orthodox Church get arrested every day for practicing the great Satan religion of Christianity that seems to have ensnared 60% of the population. :stupid:

New Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to The Republic for which it stands, one Nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I would like it but "under god" need to remove for good. :)

It doesn't need to be removed for good, it needs to be restored to the way it was originally.

Well, I means same thing as restore into original flag...

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all."

That what using at all public school in California and some other states in west region because congress is already restored it in around 80's or 90's.

FACT: The Pledge did NOT have "God" and it was added much later. Was that pledge anti-Christian? Not at all! The writer of that pledge was a Christian socialist (ironic since it was McCarthy that demanded God out of fear that communists would take over America)

FACT: The Consitution makes it clear.. do not establish religion. It respects freedom of religion and that can only work if you leave religion of any kind out of government. You are ANTI-AMERICAN if you put religion in government.

"ACLU contradict what America stands for."

WRONG! ACLU is as American as it could get. It has a history of defending UNPOPULAR cases and that's their job to defend their cases. The Constitution gives EVERYONE the right to have a fair trial. That's what America is all about!

It's people like you that clearly is out of touch with the Consitution. Why do you think your OWN judges often ignore your opinions? They are SWORN to interpret the Constitution faithfully, not your opinions or religious beliefs.
