do u deaf luv music as much as me?

I am weird...I can hear music just fine but I don't like it. I never liked music. With the radio in the car, I listen to NPR talk radio all the time. I have an iPod and I keep all my music on it but I just don't use it much.

I love music and I honestly wish I could sing good enough to be a star. I am a big fan of Darren Hayes. AWESOME voice. I did a solo once after I was caught singing 'Hold Me' on the sound system. A woman came in and said you're good, you should do a solo. So I did, I got good reviews. I need some voice lessons though. I am hoh but hey ya never know maybe American Idol should get its first deaf competitor.

I love listening to the music and feeling the beat! It is relaxing and soothing, and WILD at times. Depends on my mood on what kind of music I listen to.

Bass music

I like to play the bass.I picked it in school as I could hear it. I am hoh though not totally deaf.:wiggle:

Im gonna hot rod my guitar too. Im gonna run a seperate amp for each pickup so I will have 3 amps instead of 1. Should be louder and brutal

I actually still enjoy the sound of the bass and the tympani. I guess my taste might not be for everyone, but I do enjoy it.

Same here EXCEPT I can wear headphones... I can memorize music in my head by certain song that I like the most. I remember that time when I memorized Step By Step, Hangin Tough, Tonight and No More Games by NKOTB, Ice Ice Baby and Play that Funky Music by Vanilla Ice, Rico Suave by Geraldo, then Baby One More Time by Britney Spears, Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera. I like pretty much almost any music that has good beats to it and something that I can dance to.

you should listen to Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie. Va Ic borrowed the riff

I'm a huge fan of pop/rock music from the 70's and 80's. Pre-CI when I had severe-profound hearing loss, I used to listen to music using headphones or direct audio input through my hearing aids. Although I couldn't understand song lyrics, I could still hear drumbeats or male singers depending on the amount of overlapping keyboards/instrumentals, etc. Now that I have CIs, I find myself listening to unfamiliar kinds of music as well as smooth jazz and classical. As for playing instruments, I used to play the violin, viola, piano and flute. I also used to sing in the advanced choir. This was all during the time I had moderately-severe hearing loss. Since getting my first CI in 2004 to the present I've been taking private voice lessons which I thoroughly enjoy. I can't imagine my life without music. It means everything to me.

I love to listen to soft music, mostly country music--love songs. ;)
