That is awesome! The kids at my school are starting to learn some sign for me! I think it is great when hearies make the effort to communicate with Deafies in ASL instead of always making up speech read/speak!

That's cool...it's very true that you can't wear your implant in the water, so they need to communicate with him when he is swimming too! One of my friends has an implant and is on the Gally swim team, he was mainstreamed too but I don't know what he did to communicate in HS.
